This prestigious award is given to individuals who truly embody the spirit of charity paralleled with the College’s mission.

Last year, Dr. Paula Moynahan was recognized as the 2019 prestigious graduate of Mount Saint Vincent College. On October 19, 2019, Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. was awarded the Ad Laudem Dei award as a highlighting event during the Mount’s 2019 Reunion and Homecoming weekend.

About Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D.

Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. graduated from the Mount in the class of ’64 with her Bachelor’s degree. She has gone on to prove herself as a brilliant humanitarian, surgeon, and scientist who has truly made an incredible mark on the field of reconstructive and plastic surgery. Upon graduation, Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She then completed her post-graduate training at Lenox Hill Hospital, where she performed as an attending physician.

In addition to being among a distinguished group of women who have achieved certifications through both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. is also a member of several medical and plastic surgery societies.  In addition to attending at Lenox Hill Hospital, during her early years, Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. served as an attending physician at Waterbury Hospital, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center, and Manhattan Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. currently owns practices in both Connecticut and Manhattan where she continues to provide excellent care and attention to her patients.Thank you from Senator Joan Hartley

Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. is among the first physicians to offer out-patient ambulatory surgery to patients. She has also developed numerous anti-aging treatments, including glycolic acid rejuvenation peels, facials, injectable collagen, MEGA-peel, and Botox. 

Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D.’s accomplishments are widely acknowledged by numerous individuals. State Senator Joan Hartley, 15th District contacted her personally through a letter to congratulate her on her award.

Several of her career accomplishments have been featured on The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Crain’s New York Business, Glamour, Vogue, and MSNBC. Dr. Paula Moynahan, M.D. has been recognized as a leading surgeon by several groups, including Strathmore’s Who’s Who, American’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals, and the Consumer Research Council of America, to name a few.
